Beatitude Mountain has been a dream of Cardinal Shan since he was appointed bishop of Kaohsiung Diocese on June 17, 1991. It combines Catholic pastoral counseling, evangelization, and social services in one place with comfortable room and board. Beatitude Mountain along with Buddha Light Monastery, Tiantai Shan and Mount Zion are four major religious centers as called “Union of Religions in Kaohsiung”. People may spend a day or two in the area when touring in southern Taiwan. photo:ZFS 1

Surrounded by the tranquil woods full of bamboo trees, orchards and vegetable gardens, the modernized five floors building with 17,220 square meters living space includes main chapel, museum, cafeteria, meeting rooms, a 200 seats conference hall and 120 guest rooms. It has enough facilities to accommodate lodging and dining up to 250 people for academic or religious groups to hold workshops, seminars and retreats. Its setting can be suited from small-size lectures to large group such as international conferences.
The name of Beatitude Mountain refers to the eight verses, the declarations of blessedness made by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. We hope that visitors may worship Lord in this place and bring home peace and supreme happiness with them. Welcome and enjoy your stay either participating activities or on vacation. photo:ZFS 3photo:ZFS 4
