20th ASEACCU 2012 conference
Dear Colleagues,
Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages, Kaohsiung, Taiwan will host the 20th ASEACCU Conference 2012 from August 23rd to 26th, 2012. Student participants, however, will start on August 21st until 26th. We hereby would like to invite you to attend this year’s conference.
The theme for the conference is “ Contribution by Catholic Higher Education to Sustainable Development in Modern World: From Service Learning to Social Enterpreneurship.” Our featured presenters will share their service learning programs or experiences in dealing with the social enterpreneur development of their regions from a Catholic faith perspective. During the discussion periods, participants will have the opportunity to consider relevant issues from the cultural context of their own country. Students, on the other hand, will discuss how they can contribute to the service learning programs and sustainable development of the Asia-Pacific regions.
Registration for the conference begins on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. and onward. The opening ceremony will be at 5:00 p.m., and closes with a farewell dinner on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
